Idea after the Smithsonian Trip

The idea I'm thinking about putting an image behind another that seems similar to one of the art pieces from the Harshorn. I plan to use some gradient tools in photoshop but first I will paint an image in illustrator.

I've forgotten to write down the name of the artist for my inspiration. It on the top floor in a small hallway where the splattered paintings were at. It was a painting with large slashes of black and small slashes of red. I also there was another in a round hallway where  you could see smaller scultures (In the same hallway where the slap video is in). It was a red sculpture that looks like it has a " 2 " in it as a bodypart of a person on a wave.

I wanted to make similar images but put them in front of an image but faded. Another inspiration was one that I had caught in a video. It was at the garden with a bronze-like color that looks like some sort of a symbol. It stood near the stairs against the wall (the image will be behind the other two images).

Conceptual Art Idea

I'm thinking about using pictures of two people outside in the rain with a girl holding an umbrella while a boy, who decides to not bring out his umbrella just to look cool, is getting wet. There is also going to be an another umbrella, that was abandoned, walks away as the guy is getting wet. The girl with the umbrella ignores the boy, doesn't tend to share her umbrella and walks away.

The meaning of this idea will be:
Stop trying to impress someone or you will embarrass yourself.

Calendar Idea

December- Girl wonders in Japan during Christmas
January- Robotic man waits in the Train Station
Februaury- Two people facing each other ( blushing ) in Kyoto
March- Boy running in a field
April- Girl smelling flower
May- Man walking in Shibuya at night with an umbrella
June- 4 people at a beach.( two small figure, two large figures )
July- Two people walking together in the city
August- Boy stares at leaves changing colors
September- Three people raking leaves
October- People in holloween costumes marching
November- People sitting in a room together

Calender's theme idea

I've decided to make a calender based on Japan with some of my touches added to make  a movie scene. An example would be Shibuya Station + a picture of a person with some effects added to him/her like blur, some gradient light to dark, and others. The people that I will be making will stand out as well.  Each month will have a scene from a movie (my own which doesn't exist) example: April will have a picture of Tokyo maybe at a train station with a person ( whom I have to make) in a pose. June will have a picture of a beach in Japan with two people playing in the sand. July will have a picture of fireworks from a building's view and the fireworks colors will represent the American flag which is supposd to represent the nation of the person ( whom I will also make ) as he/she is looking out of the window.     The other months will be done similar.

Menu Idea

I was thinking about making something futuristic and slightly magical. I'm thinking of a restaurant that holds many different things as if it were to be international. I'm also thinking about making it with some kind of music place. I would add some stuff that can be from outer space that is kinda bizarre. The cover art will be a futuristic city and I think the name could be "The Feast of the Black Hole". I will add japanese writing somewhere in the cover art but I want to make i t different so it doesn't look similar to those who have used Japanese writing before my project.


Each of the food will be sci-fi related (Ex. a spaghetti-like food that is actually alien food from some other galaxy that can be called SP-47= Spaghetti from planet 47). The drinks will be completely from the other galaxies and they will be mysterious drinks with mysterious flavors. Each drink will have there unique elements. The appetizers will be the most unique foods of the menu. Some may be bizarre, and some may be similar to regular food.


The Graphics of the Cover Art will be made with some transparent effects, and some mix mashes of different images. Some gradient may be used and the fonts will be transparent. The Menu will be bluish/greenish but with some red,orange, and violet. I will also use some parts of the galaxy to the Cover Art. I might try to make the text in a bright color so it can be noticed in the darker background.
